This album aims to bring us the very best in chillout music, and as soon as we start the lovely ambience is set already. From track to track, a feeling is spread, one of relaxation and the louder you turn the music up, the more relaxing it becomes.
Incorporating songs that will be known to trance fans in some cases, like By your Side, For a Lifetime and Everytime helps too. Personally I think the remixes of For a Lifetime and Everytime make this album what it is. The vocals fit perfectly and you can only imagine how great these must sound on an ibizan sunset or sunrise.
As somebody who has tried to produce some chillout versions of songs before, I can only stand back and admire how well these are produced and how envious I am that the producers can turn out such great music. I can think of nothing but superlatives for this compilation, so if you like your chillout music…. And even if you don’t, give this one a try! Perfection is a word that is used far too much in my opinion but in this case, it’s the only word I can use.
