The 3rd and latest release from Pulsive Media's In-telligance imprint is on its way. The first two releases have offered a range of flavours, what does the 3rd hold in store...?
:: Sasha da Link - Exhilaration :: In-telligance :: In-telligance003
Exhilaration (Pedro Del Mar Remix) Pedro Del Mar's interpretation of 'Exhilaration' initially takes on a deeper, more driving sound so again In-telligance is delivering another kind of sound. A synth driven melody takes over in some sections and evolves into long sustained pulses of grainy synth - stabbed synth without the attack, basically. After building up to this sound, the track then builds around it towards the breakdown and things get a lot more melodic. The melody itself is very pleasant and plays well. Before things get too light and fluffy though, we are taken back to the deeper, proggier sound with the fairly sinister pulses of synth. A nice balance between deep/driving and melodic styles.
Conclusion:
A nice remix here from Pedro Del Mar of the quite clubby sounding original. While the synths may need polishing, they play out a sweet little melody and along with the driving sections they provide the track some staying power.
