Dr. Kucho! and Gregor Salto have teamed up once again to bring us a new floor slammer. Earlier releases made their way to the world's best dancefloors, and created havoc everywhere with the addictive basses and groovy rhythms. Want to know who or what can't stop playing with itself? Then read on...

Dr. Kucho!, who lives in Spain by the way, has been producing since 1992, and has generated loads and loads of floorfillers since then. In 1998 Weekend Records was set up and joined by Dr. Kucho, which made the label very successful during their age.
The Disc Doctor label was set up in 2003, and is being run by Kucho himself. At first, he only released tracks by himself on the label, but now other artists have joined as well. DJ-wise, Kucho has made appearances all over the world, having appeared in the USA, China, Russia, France, Germany and the Netherlands. And of course we all know him from his big hit 'Lies To Yourself' which was played by, well, everyone.

Gregor Salto was born in Holland, but studied Spanish and Marketing at Madrid University. He has done multiple collaborations with Dr. Kucho!, including tunes like 'Mr. Martini', 'Set You Free' and 'Fertilization Of Ideas'. He has also remixed known artists like Erick E, and has been DJ-ing since 1999.

Alright, enough mini-bio's, let's get on with the tune itself...

A-side: Amsterdam Funk Mix

A crispy kickdrum and some backing percussion serve as the main ingredients for the first portion of the track. A smart use of hi-hats and several other percussive elements make this cool to listen to, but the fun really starts when the bassline comes in! This must be the most addictive set of basses I've ever heard: it fits in perfectly with the rest of the track, and plays this immensely catchy rhythm during the whole build. At first, it sounds not too strong, but several energizing sounds are being added along the way to make it sound even fresher, and make you remember it for hours and hours. The overall pace in the track is very chilled till now, but not chilled in a way in which you wouldn't be able to dance on it. It's just... different (in a good way)! being almost near the break, the percussion starts to drain down a bit, and make place for a bit of silence... Here comes the moment where the track gets its name from. A girl starts talking about a problem she seems to have... She can't stop touching herself! The funny thing is that these vocals work well with the main melody hook in some way. Knowing that the vox are kind of 'naughty', you will hear the melody a bit different than before. It's hard to explain, try it out for yourself! The break goes on with a bit of broken beats, but then gets amplified by a whooshy sound, getting ready to bring in the climax. All the elements blend together, the main hook returns in its fullest form, ready to devastate any dancefloor... and it did already, because this tune has already been played for months by jocks like Roog, Erick E and Ricky Rivaro.

B-side: Madrid Acid Mix

This mix is identical to the mix on the A-side, with the only difference being the sound that is being used for the bassline / melody. As you can see in the title, it all sounds a little more acidic, giving the track a different feel.

Conclusion:
We've got ourselves one hell of a magical track here! The bassline / melody is just soo insanely addictive, you'll be humming it for hours when you listen to it. Though the hook goes on through kind of the whole track, it doesn't start to bore one second... The fine use of percs and backing synths certainly helped in accomplishing this. All in all a superb house release, let's hope Kucho and Gregor can come up with more of these masterpieces!
