Two new compilations!
Both Armin and Markus have been busy recording their double CD compilations and are almost ready for release next month.
Armin is using Ableton Live software for the first time to create a special mix for the release. Armin explains "It's a new piece of software and is a great step forward; this is the first mix album that I've done where I asked for the separate parts of every track, so rather than just mixing the different tracks, the whole CD has elements of each track coming by in the mix on several occasions, so it's more like an integrated story. It's not only mixed in BPM, but in key, and I made special edits of some of the tracks I selected."
Armin's double CD compilation will feature exclusive tracks from amongst others Remy, Andy Moor, John Askew and of course, Armin himself!
On March the 12th we will celebrate the release onboard Europe's largest eventship "Ocean Diva" in Amsterdam. During this night the number 3 DJ in the world will take place behind the decks from beginning till the end. For more info on this party check out the news section at http://www.armadamusic.com/.
Markus is also finalizing the tracklisting for his compilation and preparing to record. More info on both compilations soon!
Armin on Spike TV
Armin was recently on an American TV program "Spike TV". This short documentary gives you an impression of what Armin's recent New York gig was like.

Next weeks new release
Perky Feat. Gina J - Sensitivity [FAME002]
This is the second release on Armada's house imprint: Fame Recordings! This time another Dutch talented house producer called Perky uses the lovely vocals of Gina J. and brings us a tune with a real summer vibe. The original on the A side is very laid back and extremely subtley produced. You can easily hear that Perky pays a lot of attention to all the little details of a great production. The B side is for a remix by Mr. Fame himself. Mischa Daniels brings the track on a deeper level with some more beats and percussion which makes the track a real dance floor killer! Great package for every DJ who is into the real house music.
