Alex has been producing for quite a long time now. Back in 2000, he released the first EP under his own name, cleverly titled 'EP 1'. After that, a series of tunes followed on Clubbgroove and ID&T, including the classics 'Maximum Overdrive', 'Creatures' and 'Consequence' under his M.O.R.P.H. guise. Back in 2003, Alex made an outstanding Arc In The Sky remix (together with Henry Nix and Matthias Gierth) for the first release on Fenology, namely Woody van Eyden - 'Unfinished Symphony'. After this he was immediately signed to Fenology, and his tune 'Flaming Clouds' got released just a few months later. Later releases on the FEN label included productions by Alex as well, including Scirocco - 'Scirocco', multiple remixes and one of his latest singles, Alex M.O.R.P.H. - 'Unification'.
So, what's he doing right now? First of all, his remix for Heller & Enkie's 'Yesterday's Tomorrow' was released just a few weeks ago. Using his trademark sound, he created a quite uplifting interpretation of this tune. Also, the Alex M.O.R.P.H. remix for Mindcrusher - 'Vision05' will be released in less than two weeks.
But that's not all: the official follow-up to the massive Arc In The Sky - 'Vainqueur' has been finished, and will be released on Discover within the next few months. It will be a double A-side EP, with two tunes called 'Afraid' and 'Kissed'. As you might know, Arc In The Sky consists of three members: Alex himself, Henry Nix and Matthias Gierth. These three participants plus Woody van Eyden are responsible for the Tribal Jedi feat. WvE guise, which has been signed to the Dutch KYR Records. Their first tune 'Dark Reveal' will be released soon, including a remix by Marcus Decay.
The successor to 'Unification' has been finished as well and is called 'New Harvest', which will be available on Fenology as well including a Mike Shiver remix.
More upcoming things include a brand new Scirocco introducing Van Eyden Remix for the tune 'Kippenvelmeter' by Shane 54 & Abel Ramos. This will be released on Gesture soon. A M.O.R.P.H. vs. Scirocco Remix for Koris vs. Djule's 'Sense Of Time' will be included on the next Fenology release.
A mysterious collaboration with a few guys from France has been confirmed as well, but not much is known about this as of yet. Keep checking this site for more info.
As most of you might know, Alex DJ's as well. He has spun on loads of major events like Trance Energy, bringing his unique energetic sound to the crowds.
