Heres the latest news and info about Darude, who looks to have been busy recently and also looks set to be busy for some time to come...
"Having spent '03-'04 touring and getting into his DJ groove with his banging sets and undeniable energy, Darude is spreading his sound to every corner of the globe one club at a time, hitting up venues like Avalon New York & Boston, Spundae LA, San Francisco & Chicago, Guvernment Toronto, Gas Sydney, and many more! His style is a mix of progressive and uplifting melodic trance but he's not too shy to throw in some tech, breaks and house flavour and occasionally even heavy metal samples! He has been named in DJ Mag's Top 100 of 2004 (UK) as well as BPM Magazine's America's Favorite DJ list 2004 (USA) proving that Darude is here to stay.
Being a self-proclaimed music junkie, "I live and breathe it," as he says, Darude is starting off 2005 with a bang. He's got his third album, titled "Label This!", in the pipeline (a release date to be set) and a US tour kicking off March 4th from San Diego. He'll be spinning his rocking sets at venues across the country, including Miami for the Wet Grooves Party at the WMC and Seattle for the start of his residency at Elements."
