You may know "The Free Fall" but you may not know these brand new superb remixes...
After being on top of all German Dance Charts and on No. 30 of the Media Control Top 100, with their top single "Rainbow of Mine", after doing dozens of remixes, for example for Queen, John Secada, Maggie Rilley and 36 other big Acts of the Pop and Club Scene and after their last vinyl "Sound of love", beam and Yanou are now releasing their new Vinyl & CD "The free fall", which will be in your stores now.
The free fall was released first in Dec. 2000 as a VIP- Pressing but is now re-released containing the following (re-)mixes:
The Free Fall - The opus The Free Fall - John Johnson Remix The Free Fall - Jacob & Mendez Remix
The Opus: You may know this one from the Vinyl released in Dec. 2000 or from Clubs. Superb female vocals with a truely decent melody, but in my opinion it is not real Vocal- Trance, but a high Quality Dance tune. Some of you may say it sounds too commercial, but I think it's a really well- done Track. Was a Hymn 2000, could be a hit in the Dance Charts this year, too. Vocal Dance lovers - This is your tune!
John Johnson Remix: John Johnson made a great progressive - ambient style remix out of the original. Not a strong but danceable Rhythm. The calm and floating melodies in this track generate a relaxing and Chillout-like atmosphere. If u like ambient slightly progressive influenced tunes, go for this one.
Jacob and Mendez Remix: At the beginning of the track it sounds quite as if it's the original one, cause the rhythm and vocals differ just a little bit. but after a short time you will recognize that this mix may definately be the best one on this Vinyl. Great buildup, eaven better vocals and a really uplifting melody completely different to the original tune. Reminds a little bit of Delirium tunes because of the Vocals and the melody. Not a killer track, but a very good vocal Trancer.
I like the Work of Beam vs. Yanou. Sometimes a little bit commercial, but the melodies are awesome. Great Work, guys!
DYM Rating: The Opus: 7* out of 10* John Johnson Remix: 5* out of 10* Jacob Mendez Remix: 8* out of 10* Overall Rating: 6.5* out of 10*
