The last Saturday of 2001 hosted one of the biggest events on this planet and just three weeks later, the Innercity Compilation is released with a free DVD too :)
This Compilation is released today, Monday 21st January. Tracks include those from the talented DJ's that actually performed on the night such as X-Press 2, Mauro Picotto, Dave Clarke and of course Marco V including the theme to the event itself which was 'Marco V - Godd'
So lets take a look at whats actually on the compilation:
INNERCITY 2001 Intro Robbie Rivera - Funk-A-Tron X-Press 2 - Smoke Machine Milo - Jungle Of Mirror Fluke - Slap It (Dylan Rhymes Remix) Critical Phase - Phase One (Futureshock Remix) Dave Clarke - Compass Romanthony - Never Fuck (Ambassador Remix) Green Velvet - LaLaLand Marco V - Simulated Len Faki presents Shit - Tha Way You Like It Junior Sanchez & Rhythm Masters - Rock Your Body (AWeX Mix) Hiver And Hammer's Hands On Divine - Step By Step (Club Mix) Side FX - Feel The Beat Lisa Loud - The Miles For Sound (Lisa Loud Mix) Traxster - Believe (UK Gold Remix) Mauro Picotto - Awesome Zzino vs Filterheadz - African Bulldozer Marco V - Godd (Original Mix)
Theres quite a variety of music there, maybe its a little too broad across the different genre's. There was a lot of talent at Innercity and I think this CD tries to capture a bit of everything. I'll be buying this myself because I was actually there and its a nice piece of memorabilia, especially since it comes with a free DVD.
