It has been four years since the last album from Röyksopp, well the new one is coming out shortly, find out the title, the dates of the album release and the new single and the tracklisting for the new album. Read on...
For all you Röyksopp fans out there, who have been asking about when something new will be out, circle the following dates on your calender – June 13th 2005 and June 27th 2005.
Röyksopp is the Bergen, Norway based duo consisting of Torbjørn Brundtland, and Svein Berge, they have had a tremendous following ever since their “So Easy” single that was released on 7” in 1999. Since then, they have taken the world by storm, with their much loved album in 2001 called “Melody AM”. “Poor Leno” was probably the best known single off of that album, it had a Sander Kleinenberg mix that was a favorite among big name deejays. Now they have finished the follow up to that album and it is about to be released.
The new album called “The Understanding” will be released on June 27th 2005 on Wall of Sound. The new single will be out on June 13th 2005 and it will be called “Only This Moment”.
