Vibrations-Xavi Metralla CD1 is mixed by the legendary DJ Seduction, who old skool fans will remember from the 90s hit "Hardcore Heaven". With his usual crisp mixing he takes us through 17 tracks, with the best being the final track, a remix of the well known "All of my Life". A good starting cd, while not being as pioneering as some of his sets, this sets us up for CD2 nicely.
CD2 is my personal favourite, mixed by renowned DJ Stu Allan, who's played every hardcore event under the sun. This is a good cd due to the fact that it mixes older tracks as well as newer ones, and brings back many memories to me, with superb tracks from Force & Styles, Praga Khan, Visa and Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo. Well mixed as always, this definitely has got more plays from me already!
CD3 comes from Robbie Long, and is probably less 'happy hardcore' than the previous two, but still decent enough. This cd actually helped me identify an alltime favourite hard trance track, number 16 from Xavi Metralla, so for that I'm happy. Other tracks feature stellar numbers from rising starts Cally & Juice and DJ Ham who's been banging tracks out for the last 10 years.
Conclusion:
Definitely a strong compilation IF you like hardcore. If you're a hater, then probably best avoided, but will have many fans, and probably entice some new ones. Respect where it's due for that.
