A banging hardstyle tune with mental remixes on the flip side - this is going to be a classic ...
3 hardstyle stormers out of the Imp stable - bringing you the talents of 2 of the Imp team although mainly highlighting the talented DJ Coyote
A1 - DJ Coyote - Improvise (Original) - With a lovely effects build up before the track kicks in with heavy hardstyle drums this is a tune that could start a main set of perfectly - nice electronic stabs - hard kicks, crashes and hats. Effects rolling in all over the place with a nice marching drum beat coming right near the start before the first break with a vocal before banging into the reverb drums we are so used to in hardstyle. The marching drums come in again before the break down which is very deep and flows nicely - great synths coming in and a lovely building snare roll. This is a high energy tune that is perfect for peak time DJ sets - the vocals are used well and the usual cuts and stabs come in in the second half of the tune.
B1 - M.A - DJ Michael (DJ Coyote Remix) - This is a slower but still banging hard tune - aiming more for the original hardstyle layout with the same sounds you hear in most hardstyle tunes - also bringing in the usual trancey edge that DJ Michael always has - DJ Coyote has done the remix proud and brought in elements that work well. Not as stomping as "Improvise" but for all those that like melodies this is a definite tasty number. The breakdown is nice and trancey although I think the vocals could have been beefed up alot more.
B2 - DJ Coyote - Bitches & Money - Starting off in the usual hardstyle way with claps and reverb drums while stabs and effects build in the background. This is a teaser - bringing in the vocal very early but using it really well "Life ain't nothing but bitches and money". Once it fully kicks in the vocal is used to full effect rolling letters and using echos perfectly DJ Coyote shows his talents for hardstyle are never ending - he also brings in a break with some bongo drums and some hoovers :D . A nice cross over tune for a night building from hard house to hardstyle.
Conclusion:
A great vinyl with some good tunes. Loving B2 the most - its an inspired piece of hardstyle with great production to boot!
