The first release on Robert Gitelman and Jaron Martinez's brand new label is here! Produced by one of Belgium's most promising trance producers and three upcoming stars from Israel, this track has already caused loads of damage around the world...

Mr. Fred Baker has already been doing his rounds in the scene for years now, but a few of his latest releases really settled his name. The recently released 'Confirmation / Recognition' vinyl topped sales charts everywhere, and his remixes for Liquid Overdose, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and a bunch of other artists were received very well.
The guys behind the Keyboard Kids guise are Israel Bicher, Roman Vainshtain and Oran Carin. The first two are also known as the Immoral Monkeys, with which they have created a few hardtrancy tracks like 'Angel's Secret' and 'Black Nightmare'. Some people thought that Robert Gitelman was behind the Keyboard Kids, but that's not the case since he just supports the guys in their journey through the trance scene.

Let's found out what this collaboration resulted in!

A-side: Fred Baker Remix
Commencing in a way we are not known from Fred yet, the build-up mainly consists of a constantly building kickdrum, a cool layer of repeating basses and some neat and uplifting background FX. When the full bassdum hits in, you'll start to hear that Fred is behind this. Especially the snare that appears on every 2nd kick on all of a sudden has been heard in a few of his other productions as well. Some say that this has been overused a bit now, and to be honest I can't disagree with them. While the overall feel is still trancy, the snare and basses give the track a slightly techy atmosphere during the first few minutes. Some sinister sounding synths and a constantly fading string portion keep the track in pace until the breakdown... Without any hassle, a tight set of stringchords jumps into the sound spectrum, playing a rather nice melody. With the strings fading away gently, we hear a beepy but immensely lovely set of chords starting to play on the foreground. Building the emotion up every millisecond, this riff climbs up to the highest regions of the track by loosening filters and adding some extra energy. With the percussion kicking in again, we have ourselves one blasting but still highly melodic climax here! The melody has that nice emotional feeling in it, resulting in a superbly nice track!

B-side: Keyboard Kids Remix
Time for the second mix on the disc. This one starts off vigorously by jamming out an almost techno-ish sounding percussion right at the beginning. Using snares and this very tough kickdrum, the build has a harsh, yet very driving feel to it. A really phat and rolling bassline is being pulsed onwards by a repeating, industrial sounding sample, getting ready to create even more damage by bringing in loads and loads of percussion to create even more agility. While there's not too much melody in the track as of yet, this is going to be changed in the breakdown... With a very deep bass sound playing at first sight, some subtly placed strings start to inject themselves right into the track... and of course we know these, because it's exactly the melody from the A-side. The amazing thing about this remix is that it has totally left out the main riff, but still enables itself to create this HUGE amount of energy during the climax. A repeating and stabbing monstersynth bangs throughout the percussion, leaving nothing at its original place. A superb addition to this vinyl!

Conclusion:
We've got ourselves some tight stuff here! Fred Baker's mix hangs in between true uplifting trance and techtrance, with an amazing main riff and the right amount of emotion. The Keyboard Kids definitely know how to do a great remix as well, because theirs is just truly banging. The hard percussion and bassline combined with the killersynth just work out in a wonderful way. A neat first release on this fresh label, let's hope their next releases will be of the same quality!
