The latest track to make its way to us from the KYR imprint is a superb piece of trance from Jose Amnesia and Fedo. Its already earned support from DJs like Ferry Corsten, Jon o’ Bir, John O' Callaghan, DJ Choose, Andy Bagguley, Genix and a whole lot more...!
:: Jose Amnesia Vs. Fedo - I Need You :: KYR :: KYR330
1) I Need You (Vocal Mix) This track runs along at a fairly calm pace and is baced on bed of sharp kicks and contrastingly gentle percussion. A thick, constant bassline adds to the overall deep and gentle nature of the track, as does a variety of synthy sounds and pads which line the backgrounds of the track. The first half of this production is a slow build up until the breakdown where some really nice strings take hold and the main vocal fully establishes itself. The strings continue to play when the rest of the track drops back in and they fit in so well with everything else, creating a wonderfully calm, gentle and uplifting sound. All the right sounds have been used here and along with some spot on production you have an exemplary piece of deep trance.
2) I Need You (Dub Mix) The Dub Mix of 'I Need You' follows very much in the footsteps of the Vocal Mix. But when the break comes around, the string pads take a back seat and are replaced by a smoothly flowing slow melody. The chords that play are interwoven excellently with the changing bass and it creates a plateau of uplifting yet delicate euphoria. Just as good as the Vocal Mix!
Conclusion:
Both mixes of this track are quality. Even though they're both quite slow and deep tracks, that doesn't take away from the feelings they produce. A cracking release on KYR!
