Part 2 of the 8th release on this American Label, features a mix from Madoka and is getting heavy play from Hernan Catteneo and Moshic among others.
Brahma and Sean Gruv feat. Jillian Kiggins – We Awoke (Part 2) (Sentient Audio Collective)
This is part 2 from the eight release for the American label known as Sentient Audio Collective. The first record had the original mix and the Michael Lanning mix and now part 2 brings in Jacob Todd, who is also based out of America and the guy who seems to be getting more and more press these days, in Madoka (aka Mark Venneri). Remember folks; this is a digital only release.

1.Jacob Todd Mix 2.Madoka’s Undercurrent Mix
Jacob Todd Mix
This is even meaner and darker than the first two versions, have I died and gone to heaven? Probably not but this is just intense. This starts really slowly and uses some spaced out drumbeats for the bassline and it uses some haunting sound effects in the background. I love how this slowly builds and how it’s really just a dark cave without lights style dark track. The first thing that you ponder while listening to this is where is the vocal? Will Jacob Todd use it? The track does start to use the vocal but it is cut up and thrown to the back but that does not matter because this is just brilliant.
Madoka’s Undercurrent Mix
This continues the amazing release but remember this is a digital only release, so you won’t find it on vinyl. Madoka decides to spice things up by going more in a house direction with the bassline. Madoka’s mix is not as dark as Jacob Todd’s, the Original or the Michael Lanning mix but this does use a powerful riff but it’s incredibly housy and its incredibly powerful, almost euphoric at times.
Conclusion:
Part 2 is as good as Part number 1 and Jacob Todd’s dark mix and the euphoric mix from Madoka are just off the wall. Watch for this label, if they keep making stuff like this, watch out. This is just an exceptional release
You can buy it from their site or Beatport.
