Earthbound is Anders Eriksson and Fredrik Johansson, 26 and 27 years old trance listeners both born and living in Borås, Sweden.

i:Vibes has been talking to Anders Eriksson from Earthbound and this is the latest news from the swedish duo which have a busy schedule but found time to talk to us!

- How did your career as a producer start? When did you decide you wanted to
work with music?

Anders Fredrik had a father that were playing bass in a band and he followed him on a lot of gigs since he was very little. I started to play keyboards at the
age of 10. I have also been in a music liking family all my life. We have
both been making and arranging our own songs ever since.

- Any plans for the future? Productions? CDs? Mixes? etc?

Anders We have recently made a remix of the old cover "Light My Fire" which now was brought up by a Swedish band called Twin. We are also working on our new
album and the first single out will be "Mission: Dreams". We have also
released a new 12" on EVE Records called "Song 5" which also has been
remixed by Dave Forbes.

- Whats your tune choice of the moment? And whats your all time favourite tune?

Anders My tune of the moment... Let's see, I really don't know 'cause I have not listened so much lately. But I like the tune that Rive made with Danni,
makes me feel good :)

- You recently realesed the 'Mission Dreams' vinyl, is there anything new in production we should look out for?

Anders The single is not released yet (too bad), the song is made for the Swedish club concept called Dreams and will deliver the right kind of feeling I think.
Anything new? I don't know, let the audience decide.

- What do you think of the fact that your tunes is availeble for download on the net? do you think you would be just as famous as you are now without the mp3s?

Anders No, the MP3's make great promotion for us. We have almost only been
released in Sweden but since the MP3's are spread international we receive
e-mails from all around the world asking us where to buy our records :)

- How do you think the future of trance will be? and what do you feel about the current trance scene in Sweden?

Anders I hope it will continue to develop and I think it will. Hopefully all
trance acts will sound the same this year. The trance scene in Sweden are a
bit down I think, all R'n'B and Hip-Hop are growing much stronger but I hope
with a few new releases from Fluid that it will be back.

- Are there any producers you would like to work with in the future?

Anders We would really like to remix some more international bands and producers.
I don't know if we would like to work with another producer but would surely
like to meet some others to discuss and share.

- Do you have any inspiration sources when you make your music?

Anders The best thing is to not make music for a while, then you have so much
stuff that must come out so there's no problem making it :)

- I recently found out myself that you also are a DJ, i suspect that you are not as well known within the dj scene as you are in the producer scene, any comments on that?

Anders I would not call neither of us DJ's, but we have done a couple of
performances which went well. We mostly leave the DJ thing to DJ's.

- In general, what do you see as being the most important aspects of your life?

Anders Working hard right now so I think a little vacation would be right in time :)
