Many people see both the S.H.O.K.K. and Flutlicht projects as two of the best things that ever ever happened to trance music. Marco Guardia and his partners Giotto (together forming S.H.O.K.K.) and DJ Natron (forming Flutlicht) made loads of genre-defining tracks and remixes which are still being loved by an immense load of fans. The S.H.O.K.K. singles 'Folie à Deux', 'Isn't It All A Little Strange' and 'My Madness Says What I Must Do' topped charts everywhere, being hardtrance at its best form combining amazingly energetic melodies with that distinct use of percussion and basslines.
