Monster Tunes have been going from strength to strength throughout 2005, their last releases for the year are out now, and 2006 looks to be even bigger and brighter...
Monster Tunes December 2005 Update New Releases OUT NOW December 2005:
FORCE007 Lume - Lume Finland seems to be taking over as centre of the trance world, and this release only serves to highlight the fact. Janne Nygard aka Lume’s self titled debut is another belter to come from our friends in the north. The original mix is a subtle yet uplifting trancer with a haunting, unusual vocal that floats and weaves its way through the track and provides a distinctive hook to latch onto. Paul van Dyk favourite Adam Sheridan takes up remix duty on this one and injects a serious dose of squelch to proceedings. Taking the vocal and twisting it around a massive techy bassline which will devastate dancefloors wherever it is dropped, Adam’s mix is a stunning and innovative take on the original.
PURE008 Aava – Replica / Mesh Another Finnish talent on Monster Tunes! Aava’s debut Karma/Sid EP was released early this year and found its way into the boxes of Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren and many more. Here he has managed to surpass his previous EP in every way. Heading it up is Replica – surely one of the purest trance tunes of the year and beefed up by a colossal breakbeat in the breakdown that sets the dancefloor alight. The B-side ‘Mesh’ is no less impressive, with pianos and a simple yet effective riff. Both sides are awesome and already getting hugely positive feedback from all the lucky people who received the promo!
Forthcoming in early 2006... check http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/ for promos!
MONSAMP001 - Sampler Series Volume 1 Each of the Sampler Series will showcase 3 tracks from 3 different artists from the Monster roster. Don't expect any drop in quality here, the tracks are still going to be typical Monster Tunes quality...
Sampler 001 features K-DE - 4th Floor which has already been heavily supported by all the top trancers, and was webvote winner on TATW episode 89. Not surprising really when you consider the producer behind the track is the mega talented Jani Kervinen aka Mystery Islands and half of Dyyni & Kaste. Backing this up is Starlet - Reflections a track from the talented singer/DJ/producer who has already been supported by Paul van Dyk, and the haunting vocal track Cambridge - Blue Moon.
Watch out for further instalments of the sampler series throughout 2006, featuring tracks by Stoneface & Terminal, Firestorm, Will B and Lee Haslam!
MONSTER013 - Alex MORPH Pres. Everest - Oree Very limited promo stock of the vocal mix is available from Chemical Records now, with the track proving a floorfiller for everyone who's anyone in the scene. Release date is set for Late Jan '06 with a massive remix on the flip from George Hales.
Forthcoming tracks on the label include NuNrg - Casino with a massive remix from men of the moment Stoneface & Terminal, the new Mystery Islands EP, tracks by Kuffdam & Plant and Deepwide and a massive new track from Tiesto favourites Riley & Durrant!!!
