Happy Christmas everyone!

A busy fall for me this year – been in the studio a lot and been making a lot of music.

Michael Splint Feat. Sasja - You Set Me Free will be put on hold untill early 2006
But why?? I hear you say...We are waiting for the final remix of the new single and because everything slows down during the “festive season”, we decided to postpone the release. We are already working on the next single (actually we are working on several new tracks) so rumors of a shut down of the project are nothing more than rubbish.

Fans of Sasja can be pleased to know that many more tracks with her are in the making... Just take a look at her site http://www.sasja-music.tk/...

Expeditors Feat. Sasja - Shining Through
This is the name of the track I've been ranting about for a few months now. We have finally received the remixes from man of the moment Peter Dafnous and Finland's Corydalics & Adaro. The C&A remix is a beautiful piece of dubby uplifting trance without much of the vocals. Peter's mix is a fast paced full on melodic venture with vocals in the break only – thus making it a Vocal Dub Remix.

As stated earlier, the vocals are written by the talented UK singer/songwriter David Hughes, who also penned my #1 of 2005 - Jamie P Vs. Aurelius Feat. David Hughes - Sorrow (out on Intrenze Records NOW!!)

The track will be released in early 2006 – most likely on Novascape Records.

Max Power on a rampage
The remix we did of Camena - Sarabande, will be signed to Dutch super label FTM Records. No release date yet, but expect it early 2006. Besides our mix and the original, 2 other remixes will be on the release. The first will be courtesy of UK DJ/Producer Damien James and the second one will be one of the hottest upcomers around at the moment.

We are working on more tracks and remixes under the Max Power name, but nothing I can tell more about now.

Falkon & Yet Yauer (what's that!?!?)
Falkon & Fairlite - Moonfish has been promoed during November and the vinyls and download are almost ready to be released. Remixes come courtesy of Sweden's Samuelzone and (once again) Peter Dafnous. The track got a great review in the December issue of IDJ by Danny Slade making it a “Recommended Tune”.

The Samuelzone remix has also made it into a certain Dave Pearce's Top 10...

Falkon & Nebula Feat. Sasja - So Lost - finally this will get released. We had some problems with the original mix, then the label had a harddisc crash, but now everything seems to be in order for an early 2006 release. Remixes will come courtesy of Giorgio Ponticelli, Under Sun and Stalker. There is also a Marco V styled tech’ish kinda mix in the making – we are hoping it will find it’s way to the release as well.

Yet Yauer is an alias for a harder sounding track we did in the spring. The track will be released by hot new German label Dark Noize Recordings – and will include a banging remix by Riddler & Headcrusher. The best way I can describe their remix is a mixture between Cosmic Gate and Marco V. Check out a review here.

Novascape is doing great!
Before the year is over, we will have had 3 releases on our little label.

NOVA001 was DJ Rv Vs. Odyssee: Sleepless (incl. Misja Helsloot Remix)
NOVA002 Corydalics: After Sun (with a kick ass remix from Moonforce)
And finally released here in December NOVA003 Je-June Vs. Vascotia: Apogee (with Foreign Force Remix)

The first Nova releases in 2006 are already taking shape (remember what I told you earlier on...) and we are also very happy to have been nominated as “Best Trance Label” by Spanish magazine “Deejay”!

DJ Gigs
After a pretty slow fall, my winter seems to shape up nicely.

A new club is in the making for Copenhagen and the newly started Club Above also seems to be doing good. On January 14th I will play just that – Club Above – with DJ Choose and special guest Lee Haslam.

News about the other club will come sometime in January...

Another new radio show is in the making for 2006 and my other 3 residencies are still going strong. Some changes will be made to some of the show’s this will be revealed on my site at the end of December – and the first news letter of 2006.

Face The Music on Mysteria.se every 2nd and 4th Monday

Danish Delights on Digitally Imported every 2nd Wednesday

ETN Pres. Michael Splint every 4th Friday (At least for the remains of this year)

The new show will be on Spanish station Breeze FM. It will be a 1 hour show and if you have an idea for a show title, throw me a mail...
