Hiver & Hammer, the duo who's been doing it large lately, are back again with a massive remix of T-Factory's "Message in a Bottle" as smashed by Armin van Buuren et al.
I:Vibes recently got a promo copy of what will be a major hit, my opinion, T-Factory – Message In A Bottle (Hiver and Hammer Remix), soon to be released on Inferno Records.
This track is already big with trance jock Armin Van Buuren who made it ‘Tune Of The Week’ in his show ‘A State Of Trance’. The week after he done that, he played the track again, this just shows that it has real potential of becoming a major hit.
This track is actually a remake of an older track, you can still hear the influences in it quite clearly. The Police made this track, headlined by Sting of course. And now T-Factory took this track and made it into a real stomper.
There’s only 1 track on the record, the Hiver and Hammer Remix.
The track starts with a high hit, and some background music, and after about 1 minute, the bass kicks in, and you can hear the leftovers from the old track, a guy (Sting I think), who’s singing ‘Sending Out An Sos’.
A little bit before the middle, there’s the breakdown, which works perfectly and lasts for about 90 seconds. A really nice guitar string in it, not cheesy at all. And you can hear some more lyrics in this. Again, these are male vocals, which most of you don’t like, but they work great here. Just think of other great tracks with male vocals, like Rising Star vs. Shane – Gimme The Words (Touch Me) which was only released on white label.
After the breakdown, all the elements come together and you have one great track, great to listen to, great for the club, and great to chill to.
In one word: GREAT.
Get it if you can, you won’t be disappointed.
