Niklas Harding Update
2006 starts off well for the Danish DJ and producer. Kicking into the new year by playing at a packed Club Asta (NL), alongside names like Johan Gielen, Cor Fijneman, Marcel Woods and Menno De Jong to name a few. There are more DJ gigs in the pipeline plus he’s been requested by well known artists for remix duties.
Some might have seen the name Niklas Harding pop up on regular a basis because of growing support by the major jocks. Having various releases like ‘Shadows’, ‘Red Jewel’, ‘Pagoda’ and Butterfly Effect in stores during the end of 2005, this up and coming DJ / producer has set off on a good start in his career.
Upcoming tracks include ‘Ice Beach’ on Armada, as well as a collaboration between the German producers Hammer & Funabashi are being worked on. A new follow up under the Arcane guise with his producer mate Anders Mikkelsen is also on it’s way.
Mainly both he and a friend have been busy on the remix front for the last couple of months remixing tracks from well known artists in the scene. Blank & Jones – Revealed (Niklas Harding Remix) is to be released in the spring on the Dutch label Spinnin’ Records. Upcoming album track from the UK duo Leama & Moor ‘Everything Matters (Niklas Harding Remix)’ is coming out on Lost Language. A techier stormer San & Moore – Night Eyes (Niklas Harding Pres. Blackout Remix) on Dutch Fektive Records. And at last a remix being worked on on the Armada signed track Seroya – Beautiful.
Niklas Harding will also be mixing CD2, of the compilation ‘True To Trance Vol. 02’ which will see a release in March 2006. He has promised us a well structured CD with a lot of unreleased goodies contained on it.
Gig wise you will be able to catch him on the 2nd March at Radio Okey’s birthday party, playing alongside Judge Jules at Club Dopler in Bratislava (SI). As well as having gigs for Gatecrasher and Ibiza Club Amnesia lined up throughout 2006.
