The Swedish producer Steve Angello has teamed up with the one and only Fuzzy Hair, tune in and check out what they have established!
A1. In Beat (EDX & Leon Klein Remix) A2. In Beat (Steve Angello Remix 1) B1. In Beat (Punk People Remix)
When I talked with the owner of the label “Pinkstar House Session” a while ago he promised me that they would offer us House with a touch of trance. I really liked the idea and this vinyl is a good sign as to what’s in store!
The first remix signed EDX & Leon Klein is a real electro bang with some trance glimpses that put a golden edge to the whole thing. This style is boiling at the moment and I can surely understand why! The tune has an outstanding feeling to it with its smooth but yet heavy kicks accompanied by looped vocals and electrofied melodies. An obvious dancefloor slammer for both the electro/house fans aswell as the tranceheads.
The second remix by Steve Angello himself is a little bit more electro and techy than the first version was and the weight in this tune is hard to top. A raw kinky bass that slices your ears with a hard kick gives the tune a solid flow. Unfortunately the tune lacks the right feeling of dance abstination as the first remix has but yet it’s a cool production that I think would suit better in a radio set than in a club.
The last version by Punk People starts off really nicely with some outstanding “beatbox” rythms which makes one want to stand up and do some moves. After this massive introduction the tune has big problems with reaching a new peak and instead it becomes rather dull and plain. However it’s kind of neat but the lack of something astonishing is far too big.
Conclusion:
To come to a conclusion I must say that the first version is the best of the three and that I really recommend this one for the house/electo fans as well as the a little bit open minded tranceheads that want to experience something different. Even though I would put a 9/10 on the EDX & Leon Klein remix, I can’t give the vinyl that as a whole, so it’s a strong 7.5/10.
