UK label Monster Tunes have snapped up some big tracks for release over the first half of 2006. See inside for their forthcoming tracks and details of how you could get involved...
Monster Tunes Update
MONSTER015 - NuNrg - Casino Release: Feb 20th 2006 A: Stoneface & Terminal Remix B1: Original Mix B2: Brisky Remix NuNrg return to Monster Tunes with an absolute belter! Following up on the massive 3 disc Dreamland release which took the trance world by storm last year, ‘Casino’ is surely one of their best tracks to date! Tech-trance loops and evil acid lines are backed up by the Italian superstars’ incredible production quality to ensure this is a dancefloor destroyer for both tech-ers and trancers. The A side remix is taken by Monster favourites Stoneface & Terminal whose remix is one of their biggest and most banging moments to date. As if that wasn’t enough, label boss Brisky loved the track so much he was determined to get his paws on it, and turns in a trancier mix which keeps the tough acid lines and adds a cool breakbeat in the break. This is such a big remix that no less than Mr. Paul van Dyk requested a copy just hours after it left the studio!
PURE010 - Kuffdam & Plant feat. Attack The Wire - Tears Release: Feb 20th 2006 A: K&P 3 Way Mix B: K&P DP Mix Not content with giving you the anthem of summer 2005; the appropriately titled ‘Summer Dream’, Monster Tunes and Kuffdam & Plant team up again with devastating effect. ‘Tears’ seems at first glance to be a moody, brooding affair until the mother of all breakdowns is unleashed, and huge pads and 303’s turn this into a vocal led snarling trancer. Flip over for a progressive remix from the boys that goes down a treat on the deeper floors. Support from all the usual suspects here!
FORCE008 - Genix presents Outbound - Halo Release: 27th Febuary 2006 A: Aava Remix B: Original Mix Outbound – Halo has been knocking about the Monster Tunes office for a little while, waiting for someone to give it the remix it deserved. Up stepped one of the Monster Tunes Finnish stars Pasi Korhonen aka. Aava however, and he has given Genix’s already slick original production an awesome boost. Both tracks are classy and melodic, each having the distinctive stamp of these 2 quality producers and both are quality tracks that work on the dancefloor! Support already from Above & Beyond on TATW
FORCE004 - Riley & Durrant - Toccata Release: March 13th 2006 A: Original 2006 Mix B: Genix Remix Tiesto favourites and UK trance rising stars Riley & Durrant make their first appearance on Monster Force with a sublime uplifting track aimed squarely at the hairs on the back of your neck! The Original mix is as immense as we’ve come to expect from the boys, with a spine-tingling chord sequence and epic breakdown that’s simply dripping with quality. Remix duty is taken on by Genix, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint. Giving the main theme a huge kick up the proverbial and adding a driving bassline and soaring strings, the boy wonder has made this into a gorgeous Push style trancer which does the damage wherever it is played! Awesome!
MONSAMP002 - Sampler Volume 2 Release: March 6th 2006 A: Stoneface & Terminal - Summerscape B1: Digital Nature & Brisky - Ocean Breeze B2: Will B - Luminescence The second installment of the Sampler series, which kicked off in fine style with the massive K-DE - 4th Floor arrives! Leading the package we have Monster faves Stoneface & Terminal with their epic bosher "Summerscape" which, appropriately, smacks of summer with it’s gorgeous melodies all backed up with S&T’s trademark awesome production. Flip over for 2 tracks from the boys at Monster HQ, with Digital Nature & Brisky working well together for the storming ‘Ocean Breeze’ and then office dogsbody Will B completing the package with the melodic ‘Luminescence’. Watch out for the next sampler which includes Kuffdam & Plant – Dream Maker!!!
Forthcoming tracks on Monster Tunes include… Brisky – Now & Forever (inc. Fred Baker/Mystery Islands remixes) Ronski Speed & Stoneface & Terminal – Incognition (inc. Marc van Linden & K-DE remixes) Plus tracks from Lee Haslam, Deepwide, Kaveh Azizi, David Forbes & Mallorca Lee, NuNrg and many more…
