CD1 kicks you right off into the thick of really, as far as 'synth quests' go. You're immediately immersed in powerful trancey synths as Marcos - Ad Infinitum gets the proceedings under way. The intensity is kept and there's no letting off as you're flung straight into the awesome Thomas Bronzwaer - Shadow World. Quite simply this CD is packed track after track of the most quality, uplifting and euphoric trance to be hitting the clubs at the moment. We hear a new remix by Jochen Miller of Hemstock & Jennings' classic belter 'Mirage', featuring those spine tingling vocals. Other highlights include Blank & Jones - Revealed, Phynn - tempest, Riley & Durrant - Neon Eyes and the brand spanking new Galen Behr & Robert Burns - 'Till We Meet Again, which is just totally awesome and absolutely massive (review coming soon on i:Vibes!!).

CD2 dives into the techy realms of trance so kicks of with a deeper and groovier sound but also a very noticeably techy edge. That techy toughness is what it's all about now, as tracks such as Hemstock & Jennings' remix of 2 Phases - Quest For Trance, DJ Ton TB - Static Bullet, Martin Roth - Shockwaves and Dunn 'n' Dusted - Slide (awesome, awesome tune!) all demonstrate. Things do get quite tough and frenzied, but there's enough energy in the tracks to avoid stuff that might seem a bit too banging for some people.

As far as the mixing goes, it's of a very very high standard. All the tracks are mixed deep into each other with no blatantly noticeable re-engineering going on.

Conclusion:
All in all, this is an absolute corker of an album! I can't believe that one compilation could hold two CDs of the best music around, and deliver it so well. Thumbs up to all involved. Trance lovers out there, do not miss this album!
