Finnish trance talent Miika Kuisma is the artist behind the theme song to the fast approaching Dance Republic party in Finland this April. Is the headline track going to be as massive as the party itself...?
:: Miika Kuisma - Dance Republic :: Subtraxx :: SXXDD022
1) Dance Republic The track spends a good few minutes prepping things and warming up. There is a tempting, slightly gritty bassline which is a solid foundation for all the other elements to work off. Slight hints of gentle synth melodies can be heard before you hit the long and calm breakdown. The breakdown is a very long and building affair - it is constantly growing, gaining a bigger and bigger synth presence until the main patterns finally drop in. The lead instrument reminds me of the one heard in Tiesto's 'Lethal Industry'. It's this lead that gives the track a kind of open air feeling. It's driving and yet gently uplifting, and this is exactly what you want for a huge party like Dance Republic. Whether this one features at the start, the end or throughout, it'll go down excellently.
Conclusion:
A fine track and one that'll do well to lead a massive conglomeration of clubbers into the Dance Republic this April.
