New producer Edin Bosnjak steps up with a double release on the well known FiveAM imprint. Getting straight to the point, the man is one to watch out for because we have some totally storming tracks here...
:: Edin Bosnjak - Alluring Wishes / Sleepless Nights :: FiveAM :: FAM045
1) Alluring Wishes 'Alluring Wishes' is strong from its very first beat. The beat itself is thick and powerful, and is driven by some equally as deep bass which lies thick in the background giving the track body straight away. Slowly, pads and synths start to come in subtley from all angles and you begin to hear some beautiful chord changes, giving the track awesome flow and a melodic essence which is second to none. A surprise element comes in right as the breakdown comes in with an impacting silence. An acoustic guitar strums out a cool little rhythm and is backed by a rising synth which is absolutely uplifting and filled with soul gripping emotion. One utterly massive kick driven buildup later, and the track unleashes its full force. The thick bass blends with the impeccable pads, the delicate synth pushes out its endearing melody backed by some even more delicate plucked notes courtesy of the guitar. This just has to be heard to be believed because the only way to put it is this: This track is a masterpiece of truly incredible and inspiring trance music.
2) Sleepless Nights 'Sleepless Nights' exhibits that same strong quality as it starts, so hopefully this is a strong trait of Edin Bosnjak's style. This track though is much deeper than its A-side counter part. Quite techy drums and percussion feature alongside some techy blips and sfx in the background. The melody used is more hook-like and reminds me very much of a lot of 4 Strings productions because it has the same kind of sound and feeling. That said, the sounds are fuller and stronger with a tougher, more driving element to them.
Conclusion:
'Alluring Wishes' is just amazing. It's totally superb. Edin Bosnjak, this is one of the finest pieces of trance I've ever had the pleasure to hear. We need more of it please! :)
