In February 2006 a special remix competition was announced regarding the top track 'Punk'd', produced by Dutch talent Sander van Doorn. The competition, called Pimp My Track, asked producers throughout the world to remix the legendary track 'Punk'd'. Winners would get a spot on the remix vinyl release.
We're told that the response to this competition was truly overwhelming. Over 250 remixers applied to this contest and took the challenge to create their own interpretation of the track. After a long selection period, three final remixes were chosen to feature on a soon to be released remix vinyl on Oxygen Recordings.
The three winners of the competition are:
1) Sean Tyas
2) Nortek
3) Fabio Stein
The remix by Sean Tyas, the official 'winner' of the competition will be pressed on the A-side of the vinyl. The Nortek and Fabio Stein remixes will be found on the flip. The vinyl and official download will be available around the end of June.
