He signed with the legendary Black Hole label at the beginning of this year and talk of his album has been on the lips of dance fans for months now, the wait for his brand new album 'Revelations' is almost over.
Johan Gielen is now stranger to the dance music industry. He has worked for many years producing and mixing some of today's classic dance records. I would say he is most well known for is work as one part of Svenson and Gielen who produced 'We Know What You Did' and 'Answer The Question'. Since there last production as a duo back in 2002 the pair have both made successful solo career's. I for one would love to see an Svenson & Gielen production but right now they are both concentrating on their solo projects.
Johan has been busy throughout the early part of this year putting the finishing touches to what promises to be a very well produced energetic album of his own work. His last release 'Physical Overdrive' went down very well and will be making an appearance on his album along with his other popular tracks so far 'Dreamchild', 'Flash' and 'Show Me What You Got'. Aside from those four all the rest of the tracks on the album have not been heard before to my knowledge.
TRACKLIST
1. Dreamchild 2. Flash 3. Show Me What You Got 4. Okinawa Sunset 5. Physical Overdrive 6. Moments 7. Magnitude 8. Kuredu Express 9. Rock Your Dream 10. Reached You Anyway
There will also be another CD with the release featuring four exclusive tracks never before heard but what look to be well worth hearing.
Johan has been in Japan to promote the release of the album into the Japanese market and recently played at Tokyo's second largest nightclub Club Velfarre. The album should be available to buy over in Japan right now. I'm sure a worldwide release is not that far away but if you can't wait until then you can always grab it on import.
