The dutch superstar that is Ferry Corsten is nearly ready to bring you his latest artist album at the end of May.
To many people Ferry Corsten is the man responsible for getting people interested in Trance music having been one of the major artists for many years. His production style may have changed from the style in the late ninety's that made him a household name on the dance scene. His last artist offering came in the form of 'Right Of Way' and his latest production work keeps to the same formula.
The early Trance Nation albums released on the Ministry of Sound print were possibly the finest mix compilations Ferry has put together in his 17 years in the music industry. He has done many more since then and also released a best of album featuring some of his epic tracks under the System F banner. Over the past few years he has crated a new sound which still sets nightclubs alight as much as his previous productions did.
L.E.F or Loud Electronic and Ferocious is a very suitable name as his music is very tough energetic and kicks out a real punch. There are a couple of tracks on the album you would have already heard by now. 'Fire' which featured vocals from Duran Duran's lead singer Simon LeBon had very good support and got remixed by the likes of Robbie Rivera and Ron van Den Beuken. His latest single to be floating around the clubs right now 'Watch Out' will also be making an appearance on the album along with other productions featuring collaborations with Howard Jones, Ganstarr and Denise Stahlie
L.E.F Launch Party
Every album needs a good party to set it off and Ferry will host an eight hour night at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on the 26th May. On the night artists who have contributed to the album will perform along with Ferry himself playing new tracks from the album and I'm sure some classic works along with it.
Tickets: 35.75 EUR Each (Book Here) Venue: Heineken Music Hall (Website) Event Times: 10PM - 6AM
Keep an eye out on the I:Vibes pages for a review of Ferry's second artist compilation to date using his Ferry Cortsen name as soonas we have it.
The album should be available in all good record stores from the 26th May.
