Chicane....only two words were used to describe this release in 1998 on Manifesto...Mind - Blowing.
Chicane!!! Non other than Nick Bracegirdle. The man who brought us the ever so popular Saltwater, Halcyon, Autumn Tactics, Red Skies and Offshore, thats just to name a few. And of course all of his remixes under the alias Disco Citizens.
This particular vinyl interested me beacuse for one it has one of the best remixes from Chicane i have ever heard and plus the fact that the background music sounds ever so similar to Chicane\'s un-released track \"Mojave\".
If you can find this Vinyl anywhere...one word of advice : Buy it!
A. (09:38) Who Do You Love (Chicane Remix)
The track starts of with very nice piano samples and the melodic uplifting chicane bassline kicks in. From there we hear Angella\'s vocals \"Who do you love\", and yes people it only gets better. The light drum snare kicks in and makes the jorney much better. There is not much else to say about this remix becasue like most of Chicanes Remixes/Productions, it is pure quality.
B. (06:20) Who Do You Love (Chicane Edit)
The Edit, is basically excatly the same as the A side, but is just shortned down like a radio edit would be.
Conslusion: This record came out in 1998. And in my eyes it is considered a gem. For those that have it, hold on to it or sell it for some big bux. This vinyl deserves the 9/10 thats it's going to get.
