The Belgian Kobbe and the American Austin Leeds present another sleazy houser on the Dutch Spinnin' label. Read on to check it out..!
Kobbe and Austin Leeds just did a very nice remix for Starkillers' Discoteka track on the Spinnin' label and now they signed an own release on this hot imprint. The remixes are done by Macz and Martin Accorsi.
A1) Posessed (Original Mix)
After 1 minute and 30 seconds of some thick housy beats the chunky bassline is being introduced which takes you through the whole track. Some seductive female vocal comes in and tells she is 'posessed'. A short, but effective synth supports the vocal lines and together they make the track quite catchy. In the break the attention goes to the vocal and the synth where together with claps and the bassline a climax is being created. After the climax I have no doubt the dancefloor has been gone crazy.
B1) Posessed (Macz Remix)
The Macz remix is some more driving then the Original Mix from the very moment, this is because of the higher tempo, which actually feels a bit trancy. The trancy feelings falls away quick when the housed-up grindin' bassline comes in and takes over the track. Also in this mix there is many use of the female vocal which fits this track good and has a same catchy feel as the original.
B2) Posessed (Martin Accorsi Seductive Beatz)
Martin Accorsi presents a more deep version of 'Posessed' by using dark effects and low basslines. Together with some crazy synths and the female vocal Martin certainly has an original track in hands. But although there are these few cool elements Martin is hanging on the same sound the whole track. So the mix would have been a lot better if there was just some little more variation.
Conclusion:
The release contains 3 nice versions with the Original Mix and the Macz Remix as the real crowdpleasers. I tip Martin Accorsi's Mix as a good choice to build up your set with.
