Could You Promote Your Own Dance Event?

Made Event are offering you the chance to promote their forthcoming dance event hosted by Paul van Dyk in Central Park. Fancy yourself as a promoter the here is your chance to prove it.

Here is a chance for all you wannabe promoters to prove your worth as a successful promoter. Made Event run dance music events mainly based in New York City and attack the likes of Steve Lawler, Markus Schulz and Armin van Burren to play at there parties. Over the course of June and July they will be playing events spread across New York City. Summer in the big apple has never been so good.

August 18th and the 19th see Paul van Dyk playing at Central Park in New York and why promote your own event when you can run a competition for others to do the work for you? One lucky winner will win an all expenses paid trip to New York and tickets for both days of the event. Even if your not an up coming promoter its certainly a good way to blag your way into see DJ's worlds best DJ in action at one of New York's most famous landmarks.

Do You Fancy Your Chances At Being a Promoter?

What do you have to do win this competition? The competition is only open to residents living in America who are 18 and above. The first step is to log onto the GetMade site and register your interest in the competition.

You will have to submit your ideas on how you would promote and get people to buy tickets for the event. They can be anything you feel like but may I suggest holding people to ransom an idea you overlook on this occasion. Your ideas can be sent in by written, photo or you can even make a video with all your ideas in it. They do want some visual ideas so get your thinking caps on. When you have thought about how you would do it submit your entry on they GetMade site by 12PM EST on June 23.

Once they have had all the entries in a select panel will sift though each one and pick out four finalists from the ideas submitted. If your one of the four finalists its then you get the chance to sell real tickets for the August dance event in Central Park. Winners will be given a URL and it's up to them to get people to buy tickets through that URL. The winner with the most ticket sales through their URL wins the competition and the all expenses paid trip to New York. Not only that I'm sure a few handy contacts in the dance industry to.
