The track with a massive Armin van Buuren remix gets the remix from one of the longest known producers in the scene who's been at the forefront of trance since the mid 90s...
Marc Mitchell aka half of Sunday Club and of Human Movement fame is one of the most talented and influential producers of the 90s and beyond is back, and he's been back strong in the past few months. With a production list to die for and support from Whoop!, Renaissance and Stress in the past, he's at the top of the big names list, so definitely not to be looked over.
Unfortunately, the remix of Viola may not see the light of day, as Moogwai and Platipus do not particularly like the track, but I guess we'll have to sit around and wait for it to see if Platipus will release it. Having mentioned Platipus, Marc Mitchell just had a release on Platipus' 100th release with the remix of Universal State of Mind - All Because of You; a nice bubbling progressive chiller which i:Vibes should be reviewing over the next few days.
Human Movement has also remixed Deepsky's "Stairway to Heaven" on Kinetic Records, which is due for release sometime in February (Expected).
Further more, Human Movement's new single containing "fall into love" and "healing" which appeared on the recent Gatecrasher Experience has now been fully completed and is waiting for a release. Could it be signed onto Renaissance and reach massive proportions like "Love Has Come Again"? We'll see.
Marc's Sunday Club guise is soon to be completing a single titled "The Quiet Swan", but his recent production trio with Ian Ossia and Paul Mack included of Renaissance fame, under the guise of 3 Moons, looks possible to be released on Whoop! Records in the near future.
For those of you who haven't heard Marc's productions and remixes, you really ought to pick up a copy of any of his guises under Human Movement, Axis Shift (Big big with Sasha during the progressive era), Sunday Club, Aspect of I, as well as others.
Marc's brief interview will be up on i:Vibes within a few days, so stay tuned! www.marcmitchell.co.uk
