First of all we want to announce that our very successful Captured Radio show in conjunction with Digitally Imported (DI.FM) will increase in frequency - meaning that from July 2006 Captured Radio will be broadcasted twice monthly on DI.FM, every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month between 12PM US Eastern Time / 5PM UK (GMT) and 18:00 Central European Time. The show will continue as usual (Monday the 12th of June) and the new dates for the broadcast will start from the 5th of July and from there on continue twice a month as mentioned above.
Be sure to not miss out on Mike Shiver revealing his current top favorites along with Anjunabeats' rising stars Super8 and DJ Tab as guests on the 12th of June.
Furthermore, the summer has almost arrived - well for some of you it may already have, but for the poor bastards living in Sweden will all have to wait a little bit longer. So while waiting, there's been nothing but work thats been keeping us busy at the Captured HQs. We have plenty going on as always and some fantastic new releases coming up! There are new tracks from Mike Shiver, Elevation & Matias Lehtola all in the pipeline for a hot summer ahead of us. But before all that however, we've got Mike Shiver & Marc Damon's roastingly hot new single 'Water Ripples' arriving at your local store!
Once again Mike Shiver re-affirms himself as one of the leading up and coming producers in the trance scene. Now together with the Swedish newcomer Marc Damon, they deliver a beautiful prog trancer with stunning production quality with a warped side chain bassline joined by warm melodies. Giving the remix treatment of this release are none other than the Swedish talented up-and-coming duo Under Sun. Under Sun unleashes an absolutely astonishing boot up with groovy baselines filled with loads of energy set to create madness on the dance floors. Christian Rusch once again shows his talents by reworking 'Water Ripples'” into a beautiful chill out version which is perfect for all the summer sunsets to come.
To sum things up, Mike Shiver also made an awesome interpretation of 'Water Ripples' with his well known 'Catching Sun' sound which gives the track a little extra uplifting touch.
