 A brand new label focusing on a global trancesound hits the scene this month, with their first release being a long-awaited track by Shane 54 & Abel Ramos, including remixes by Scirocco introducing van Eyden and Misja Helsloot! Head in for more info.
GETZ will focus on a contemporary melodic trance sound with its releases, signing a multitude of artists who aim to bring us style-blending productions.
The first release is a production by Shane 54 & Abel Ramos called 'Kippenvelmeter'. It's the Dutch word for 'goosebumpmeter', a term Armin used frequently during his ASOT radio show a while ago. The original of the track was produced back in 2003 and played by a vast array of big trance jocks, but somehow never saw a full release.
GETZ has attracted two brand new remixers to give their interpretation of Kippenvelmeter. The Scirocco introducing Van Eyden remix is produced by Alex M.O.R.P.H., Woody van Eyden and RuDee, while Dutchman Misja Helsloot delivers his 1999 Mix on the flip.
Coming up in August is GETZ's second release, a tune by Tim Cornelissen under his Mays alias.
'Kippenvelmeter' is out now, both on vinyl and as a digital download. Downloads are being offered exlusively on Beatport for the time being.
