Rising Israeli star Igal Magitman makes a welcome return to Very Progressive with this storming driver of a track!!
Igal Magitman is a name that many of you may not yet be familiar with. He has released tracks on Plastik Park and Digital Oracle but has recently signed EPs to the mighty Baroque and James Harcourt's great new label Twisted Frequency.
Wuzik Feeling is a great example of Igals style of driving progressive house. Melodic and rhythmical in equal measures, it's these sort of tracks that really pump the dance floor! Think twisted vocals, skipping hi hats, big sexy breakdowns all topped off with a deep and groovy bassline. The remix here is supplied by Dnox & Beckers who you may know from their recent outings on Polaroid, Sprout, Vapourise, Electribe & Baroque. Their mix is a slightly darker, more dubby affair than the original. They've maintained the drive and overall feel of the original but have stripped away some of the layers, and although the melody is still present it is used far more sparingly.
Conclusion:
Whilst not exactly ground breaking this pair of tracks are certainly worth checking out if you like your music progressive, driving and deep. My only complaint would be that both mixes are fairly similar so as a whole this release may not appeal to so many people. Expect support from the likes of Pappa, Cattaneo and Seaman. And keep an eye out for Igal, I've a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of him over the coming months......
