A recent trancey little number is 'Fluff Deluxe' by Mino Vaknin on the Maelstrom imprint. UK trance hero Adam White is on remix duties...

1) Fluff Deluxe (Original Mix)
The Original Mix of 'Fluff Deluxe' is quite progressive in nature. There are many delicate touches to be heard as the track evolves, going from a slow, proggy build, to something sporting a slow and gentle melody, and then even further on to some much stronger, stabbed rhythmic notes. It keeps returning to its roots though, going back to the basic beat and simple flowing chord progression with only a few extra elements to spice up the sound. After the breakdown, you get to experience everything again. Nice track overall, but it does suffer from feeling a little flat at times.
2) Fluff Deluxe (Adam White Remix)
Adam White provides some UK trance flavour in his remix. Instantly, a punchier beat can be heard and the backing synths are tingling with stored energy. The track is made more buoyant with some nice and energetic bubbly bass and slowly, lush synth pads begin to creep in from the background, filling up the sound and adding gently to the growing chord progression. The slowly building first half of the track works it's way into an epic breakdown filled with gorgeous deep synths and lets go with some stronger synths which push out the main melody as the track drops back in. This remix is very climactic post-breakdown, which is nice, and it always keeps the power on and the trancey melodies playing out right up until the end.
Conclusion:
Quite a progressive Original Mix, but Adam White's remix is really nice, especially once things are fully warmed up and cooking after the breakdown.
