 The DJ Poll every DJ wants to be at the top at opens it doors to crown the world's best DJ for this year. Get voting for your favourite DJ.
It's the DJ poll every DJ wants you to vote for them in. It's by no means the only DJ Poll that exists but over the years it's gained a reputation as the official unofficial list of who are the world's best DJ's as voted for by the public.
Regular readers of DJ Mag magazine well be aware that voting has begun to put together the list of the worlds best 100 DJ's for 2006. The Ibiza season is still in full flow and summer is still hanging on before autumn knocks it out of the way so there is plenty of time for DJ's to impress you enough to gain your vote.
Paul van Dyk currently holds the titles having taken it off DJ Tiesto who looked like he would never drop from number one. Last years poll collected over 120,000 votes which was a big increase from the previous year. The poll seems to gather more votes each year and no doubt this years poll will see record numbers of votes.
Voting is now open and you have until the 25th September to submit your top five DJ's who you think have performed better than any others this year. You can vote for any DJ you wish to your local pub jock or you international globe trotting super DJ, it's entirely your choice.
Anyone from anywhere is eligible to vote but you are only allowed to submit your top five once. Security measures are in place to make sure this rule is followed to ensure the poll is as fair as it can be.
When all the votes have been counted and the winner chosen the results will be announced at a start studded party down in London (UK) on the 25th October. The night will always feature the DJ's who are voted into the poll and no doubt some good music. All that remains is to get your vote in on time and wait to see who gets crowned DJ Mags world's best DJ for 2006!
