They're saying that this is E-Craig's best production to date. Well, I think they might just be right...
:: E-Craig - Home :: Reset Records :: RS021
A: Home (212 Vocal Mix) After a neat little building introduction, the track hits an early break then just get right down to business with a big, hefty tribal beat and a filthy, raw lead which stabs out a simple rhythm. Soon this is receiving backup from some cool synths in the background and a more constant hum of bass coming from deep down below. There is a wicked, raw sensation as the track just chugs along. It hits another short break, but this time a synth goes absolutely wild and unleashes the true sound of 'Home' - the same beats and raw synth leads are taken over by some smoother but quite aggressive synths which stab out the same rhythm as before. The track just seems so full bodied - the sound is complete as the track just powers along effortlessly, beat after beat after beat. When we hit the breakdown, the mood changes and we're treated to some ambience and a lone (familiar sounding - reminds me a little of 'Saltwater', but only for a moment) female vocal which is really quite nice and tranquil. But just before you think you're watching the end credits of Gladiator, a climax begins. A huge climax. A totally massive oh-my-god-that-synth-and-those-snares-are-going-wild climax. A climax which would destroy the soul of a lesser man. It's nuts. The track just erupts into a surge of power with the tribal beats kicking and the synth lead pushing out those rhythmic stabs. The final touch is achieved when E-Craig adds his trademark ambient synths to really round off the sound perfectly. This is an amazing track, don't miss out on it.
AA:: 212 Instrumental Mix The 212 Instrumental Mix just does exactly what it says on the tin. It's the same track just with the vocals removed, so you get to pick and choose whether you fancy a vocal tip, or not. That climax is still there, oh yeah, is it there.

Conclusion:
Massive, massive stuff from E-Craig. Definite in my mind, this is his finest work. Banging!
