First time I looked at the record I didn´t really wanted to hear but the saleman persuaded me to talk it for a spin...
and I loved it...
This is my first house rewiew so why not start of with the new vinyl: Bel Amour - Bel Amour (the remixes). This record is from the Danish record company Hypnotic.
First at all I didn´t really wanted to hear it but I found out that the one of the rmxs was great.
UPS (united pumping service) has done a great job on the rmx. Especially the latin mix is great. I just love the trumpet theme. I am not listing to it now but still the theme is on my mind. GREAT I love it.
The girls if they like house will love you for spining it. (I hope... :-). But sadly this is the only track that kicks in my opinion.
Anyway the latin mix is a MOST HAVE record if u are a house dj. I love it and I am looking forward to see more UPS stuff. The other UPS remix is also great but not as great as the latin mix. Actually is quite similat exept the trumpet theme
Beatphreak´s tribal vocal is a quite different matter. I would not call it a great remix. In my ears it is too boring. The theme repeats it selfs to many times. I think one would become more and more fond of it when u have listen to it for some time. Right now I am kinda annoyed by the vocal sample (or what it is :-). It reminds me of sounds from a adult film...!!! :-)
And least but not last there is the radio cut. Great track. Need I say more...
But all together I love the vinyl 5 tracks for the price of one... a great deal. I will give it 8 - 10. So take it for a spin if u get a chance.
