Here we see top trance producers Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Talla 2XLC join forces to bring a powerful slice of trance on the quality Fundamental imprint. On the remix is another pair of high end producers Re:Locate and Solid Globe...

A: Full Prelude (Original Mix)

You can feel the M.O.R.P.H. influence straight away in this track. The kicks are tight and pumping, the synths are energetic and uplifting and the whole thing is driven by a solid, rolling bassline. This whole track is like one big climax really - it builds and builds up to the one and only breakdown, building the layers of synth, focussing on one main repeating synth hook which is in itself, very energetic and powerful. The only breather in this track is the breakdown, and only half of that could be classed as relaxing because within it the full melody of 'Full Prelude' is born. High powered synths soar above everything else and put out a quality and powerful melody which is long, winding and enveloping to listen to. Once this high energy section is over, there is a few minutes of well deserved winding down to be done before the track ends. Wicked trance!

AA: Full Prelude (Re:Locate Vs. Solid Globe Remix)
This remix comes from a very interesting combination of producers. Re:Locate is known for the more driving and powerful trance, whilst Solid Globe is well known for the quieter, calmer tracks with gentle ambience around them. The results can be clearly heard here though. The track is much less downbeat than the Original, but you can hear the gentle, subtle melodies of Solid Globe and also the stronger beats and bass energy from Re:Locate. The melodic side of things comes into play after the breakdown, with a rough and distorted sounding synth putting out a relatively calm and soothing melody which flows nicely alongside the soft, rhythms of the bassline. Very nice, and quite different too.

Conclusion:
More great stuff from Fundamental who're showcasing a wealth of quality production talent in this release. The contrasts and combinations of these artists styles join together to make tracks of a very high standard, whether you're after gentle and melodic or uplifting and energetic trance.
