 A brand new single is on the way, a brand new remix of an old favourite, the latest podcast and news of Gareth's feature in UK dance magazine Mixmag.
It's the middle of October but there are a few things to report from one of Trance's new generation Gareth Emery. He made his debut into the scene with the very well known Minstral, a record that were produced with only the simplest of software. Since then he has released loads of tunes including some very big collaborations with the mighty Lange. Whats new then?
Another Me, Another You
That would be the name of Gareths brand new record. There is no release date set for it but do expect it before the end of the year cirtanly. The record has been sent out to only a few selected DJ's with Armin van Buuren playing it a few times and the mighty Paul van Dyk sliding it into his recent sets. Paul has been that impressed with it that he has signed it to his Vandit label. You can hear a sample of the record on Gareth’s MySpace page.
On the remix side Gareth has been producing a fresh remix for his 'Back On Track' record he did with Lange. In a different kind of mix than normal Gareth has done a Breaks mix and should make an appearence in November.
The Gareth Emery Podcast
It is now on its 15th Episode and it is Gareth's guide to the latest Trance records you should be checking out every fortnight. The latest episode features new records from David Forbes, Dallas Superstars and M.I.K.E. It's all packed into a very tight 45 minutes but always has a good spread of records fresh form some of the biggest and well know DJ boxes. You can download the current episode and have a look the tracklistings for previous episodes on the podcast web site.
Gareth Talks To Mixmag
Mixmag is one of the biggest Dance publications in the world never mind the UK and if you pop along to your local newsagents you can find Gareth's VIP article. In the article he talks about his growing love for the popular MySpace community and how he once found a naked girl in his bedroom, something which I'm sure every male would very much welcome.
