The debut track from Australia's Hard Kandy label is out - tune in and read what we at i:Vibes thought about it!
Original Remix Alex Kidd Vs. Dark By Design Remix
Standard buildup, standard lead, a melody which is a little bit over average… Quite simply, the original remix doesn’t feel very original instead it feels a bit tasteless and dry. I don’t mean to cut the knees of the tune but it just feels like I’ve heard hundreds of tracks like this one. Although what takes this tune at least a little bit over average is the main melody which probably and hopefully will give you some extra power on the dancefloor. On the following version have Alex Kidd and Dark by Design put their minds together to come up with something new and exciting, the result however is not as special as I had hoped for. The song has got some cool elements, some high energy lines and some wicked kicks but lacks something really edgy and particular. In short, a decent track.
Conclusion:
As you can understand this one is very average and is in need of something more appealing and I must say that the joint project by Alex Kidd and Dark by Design turned out to be a disapointment.
