Diverted Recordings Launch

Diverted - The Beginning

Diverted Recordings was born on the 6th November 2006, run by two familiar faces you may recognise, Steve Allen and Daniel Vale. You may have recognised them from Reflected Recordings (which, Kamil Polner now owns solely). In any case, due to musical differences, Steve and Daniel launched Diverted Recordings in this respect.

Daniel Vale and Steve Allen wanted to concentrate on the more exciting, euphoric and diverse sounds of trance, tech-trance and harder trance. The label will focus on bringing the freshest sounds to clubbers and DJs alike, and hopefully supply tunes in a variety of different sub-genres of trance music.

Diverted will host new-coming producers and established producers within the scene from all around the globe.

Artists that will be appearing on the label will include: Northern Project, Passenger 75, Gate42, Fabio Stein and many more.

The first release showcases one of these talents, which will kick-start the label off in true euphoric style.

Northern Project – Euclidean Axiom / Touched By An Angel
Well what a treat we have for you lot, the first release of Diverted Recordings sees newcomers Northern Project storm the label with their stomping "classic" trance energizing sounds. Think of trance around 1998/1999, and a touch of hard trance and a dose of Paul Van Dyk influence, and that is exactly what you are getting!

Introducing Northern Project

Northern Project are a fluid group of individuals with a flair for both the simple and the extravagant when it comes to musical construction. They share a passion for the pure soul of a trance-filled environment, producing music with all the warmth, depth, drive and clarity expected and demanded by the discerning clubber.

Today Northern Project are DJ Dinamic from Oslo, Norway and Pegan from Sheffield in the UK. Dinamic has music in his genes and brings with him a musical heritage. He began DJing in the late nineties and producing a little time later with sets on ETN.FM to his credit together with a growing number of remixes. Amongst his recent influences are Armin, Alex Morph, Firestorm, Tiësto and Carl B.

Pegan brings with him a background of influences stretching from ambient soundscapes to classical through trance to the electronica of tech house. He also has enjoyed some solo production successes with tracks played at the Café del Mar in Ibiza.

'Euclidean Axiom' is an euphoric beast with pounding hard trance like synths and a crushing bass line that will cause a riot on any dance floor. Its breakdown is very "hands in the air"; so brush off the dust on your glow sticks. A killer peak time trancer!

'Touched By An Angel' is still keeping the same style formula, but a lot quicker and much more energetic. The breakdown is immense and the tune will win over the dance floor with success. This is also a peak time trance bomb, and will show exactly what future releases we have in store over here at Diverted!
