Reead doesnt categorise himself he just makes what he feels. This track is a fresh new look at electro house.
Reead- Rewind
Due out in December 2006 "Rewind" comes with 9 different versions to fit anyones style and mood. Reaad sings about mixed feelings and the music brings in guitars, pianos and pop styles.
1. Album Version
This is a more laid back track with harmonic vocals. Reead has an amazing voice and the production around it sits so well. This is the track you will hear on his forthcoming album " take what you need" which is out soon.
2. The Dootage Remix
This starts off in a more electro style with the usual beeps and bleeps over a tasty beat line. The bass line is your typical electro house style and this chugs along nicely with the vocals. Uplifting pads help this become a more ambient yet still electronic track.
3. Erick Dere Remix
A more up tempo remix this kicks in from the off and you expect things from this when the synth pads and vocals come in. The track is a touch flat it doesnt really go anywhere it just sits in 3rd gear and stays there but is a good filler track.
4. John Stizzoli My ReMixx
This already catches my ear with a dirty synth stab coming in and out and a nice building pad. It has a slightly dirty trance vibe to it while still being electro house. The vocals work very well with this track that won't fail to get you moving.
5. Dj Nox Remix
This has a very rock band style about it when it kicks in. Vocals fading in and out and a guitar strumming away in the background while waiting for the build. Once the track kicks in the bass throbs and really causes a stir.
6. Guyom house mix
To me this has a very disco pop feel to it. Certain parts remind me of old tunes. It would work very well in any commercial dance club and on any radio station. This is one of the more involved remixes on the cd.
7. Ultimate over beeat club mix
Very up tempo with a pop / disco edge to it. The breakdown is very tasty with some nice synth lines running in and out while the vocals are chopped up and twisted with ease.
8. Dj Powertech + Dj racim mix
Soft electro house at its best here with guitars, basslines and marching drums. This would work as a start of the night build track that is sure to get the clubbers off the seats and onto the dance floor.
9. The gir dub
Just as laid back as the album version this runs along at a nice pace. With sounds that you would associate with micheal jackson and the tasty vocals this is a nice track to sing along to and relax to in a lounge / bar.
Conclusion:
My favorite track out of the 9 has to be the Ultimate over beeat club mix .. it has the kind of tempo i love and i can see it doing very well on the dancefloors around the world
