A new Starkillers is just released! Does this means another filthy, sexy, raw release? Check it out!
Nick Terranova, Austin Leeds, Kobbe and Jelle Faber also known as the Starkillers did some major damage on the dancefloor last year with 'Discotheka'. Now with Scream they aim to do just the same. Let's check out if this is possible.
A1: Starkillers - Scream (Original Mix)
The Original Mix starts off quite the same as the 'Discotheka' track. Good groove, easy bassline and thick beats. Then a small build up comes in that leads to a fat bassline and female vocal snippets. The vocals take over with some dirty lyrics that definetly will have it's effect on the dancefloor. After this the bassline takes over and some short synths make it even dirtier. Very cool track.
B1: Starkillers - Scream (Kobbe & Leeds Remix)
Kobbe & Leeds start the track with some groovy percussion with the vocals whispering on the background. Then in the break the normal vocals come in followed by a big grindin' bassline and some breakbeat. After this the track gets a major drive with all the elements coming together. Good add to the original.
B2: Starkillers - Scream (Instrumental Mix)
Although the use of the vocal is a very important element in the Scream track there is also added an Instrumental Mix. But even when the vocals are deleted it still has a very sleazy touch.
Conclusion:
Scream is set to be another peaktime monster. Also the Kobbe & Leeds Remix will do some major dancefloor damage. If you liked Discotheka you'll love this one!
