You can expect the usual Fat! records madness here. Bleeps, breaks, electro and more all mashed up for your delight.
:: Boabinga + I.D. present Big Monster - Recognise :: Fat! records
Baobinga is known for anthems as diverse as 'The Bashment Track' (a highlight of the huge-selling Freestyler's FabricLive CD), the Alter-Ego does Prince rocker 'Know Ya' (with 30Hz) on Supercharged and the speed-garage-meets-breaks-in-a-techno-warehouse vibes of 'Shake Yer Head' on Aquasky's 777 imprint. His productions with fellow mancunian I.D. have also been setting standards in Breakbeat since their first release ‘The Feeling’ (Hardcore Beats, 2004), which won single of the month in DJ Mag and Knowledge, and was snapped up by Electronic Arts for their 'FIFA Street 2' game.
Recognise This is lovely down tempo electro / breaks at its best. With stuttering vocals, deep dirty basslines and high pitched bleeps. If you can keep still to this there is something wrong with you. The vibe it gives off is infectious and this will be heard in all the dark, dirty electro clubs.
"Recognise is a ruthless peak-time roller, wrapped up in a Jackin’ House vibe and armed with a bassline that just won't let you stand still for a second. Baobinga's latest production has already been shaking the floor during his monthly residency at Fuse, Manchester with early support also coming from the likes of Krafty Kuts, Skool of Thought & 30Hz."
Conclusion:
A great track. Really full of vibes and electro quips. A must for your box.
