1) Bells Of Tiananmen (Airbase Remix)
There are no false starts involved here. Airbase gets things rocking right away with unrelenting rolling bass and an almost immediate synth presence which builds up an uplifting, energizing riff. The energy subsides for a while as string pads and a distinctly oriental stringed instrument take over in a rather early breakdown. The lead synth soon takes the reigns again though and puts out the fully developed main hook. Whilst being quite a simple riff, melodically it's highly infectious and very likable. On that note, it also retains a retro 'trance from back in the day' feel too, which is pretty refreshing from a nostalgic point of view. What Airbase has given us is lots of big build ups, gentle but fulfilling breakdowns and plenty of peak time trance. There's nothing 'inbetween' to fill gaps or to add some false variety, it's all good, uplifting and energetic trance which you can stomp to.

Conclusion:
A nice 'upgrade' to this tune from way back in 2005. Airbase provides a classic trance feel whilst keeping things pumping and full of energy.
