Noys Music have a new A&R man - And he's out to find new talent!
MEET RHYS PARRY-JONES: As part of its 2007 expansion, Mike Koglin's label Noys Music has appointed Rhys Parry-Jones to the role of A&R manager. Rhys, who is based in London, will be seeking new music from across the tech/trance spectrum.
For three years, Rhys misspent his time at University as a regular at Godskitchen de-constructing trance tracks and pursuing other club nights all over Europe, consequently enabling him to develop strong opinions and to complete a truth-seeking dissertation on trance music.
In 2005 he worked as part of the production team assisting Judge Jules to broadcast the BBC Radio One 'Saturday Night Warm-Up' to dance addicts all over the globe. Since then Rhys has been assisting Mike Koglin in the studio with the running of Noys Music, absorbing thoughts and conforming tastes from others in the industry such as Fortress Studios neighbors Above & Beyond.
Therefore Rhys has a keen understanding of what makes a massive trance record and more importantly the specific sound Noys Music requires. As long as it contains a powerful, driving blend of tech trance with elements of techno and electro, Rhys wants to hear it! In 2003 Mike Koglin relaunched his label Noys Music, described by Mixmag as "one of the hottest trance labels in the UK", as an outlet for his collaborations with some of the biggest names in trance as well as new signings from international artists. Into its 16th release Noys enjoys massive support from DJs and Dance Music lovers from all around the world.
