Well here it is. Nu-Nrg's greatest tracks all mixed up together in an artist album. The title says it best - what you have here are simply the 'Most Wanted' Nu-Nrg tracks that have ever been. Many of these have remained unreleased as both singles and on compilations, whilst the rest have graced such massive labels as Vandit and the like. All of the hard to get tracks will have, by now, been released in an album sampler series on Monster Tunes. The final effort is here where they all come together in an amalgamation of the Italian duo's unmistakable trance talent.
There's a whole range of styles and sounds to be heard in this album. There's a gentle and ambient intro which leads into 'Kosmosy', 'Astralis' and then more importantly, the beautiful melodies of 'Freefall'. Tracks such as 'Opportunity' are reminders of the early almost psy influence that can be heard in their basslines, with that rolling sound providing classic energy to the music. Even then though, the gentle acoustic leads layered on top helps create a unique, what can only be described as classic, Nu-Nrg sound. Track 6, 'Dreamland 2005', is one everyone will have no trouble remembering and is easily a highlight of the entire compilation. The following section of the album takes you through some really classic styles of trance and also to some more darker and driving areas thanks to 'D-31' and 'Casino'.
Conclusion:
This is a great spotlight on one of trance's long time and consistent production duos, focusing on top tunes and memory evoking classics.
