Toolroom Records are a label with the likes of Mark Knight, Da Hool, Dave Spoon, Tom Neville on their books and they have enlisted the aid of Gabriel & Dresden to mix together their forthcoming Toolroom Nights compilation.
Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden have had a steady rise to the top the dance music mountain and are very much one of the top duo's on the scene today. I would put a lot of this down to a very special remix they did to an Andain track a few years ago which blew up big time and certainly helped broadened their fan base.
Toolroom records know what a good duo they are, why else would they enlist them to mix a double disc compilation for them? The main three amigos behind Toolroom are Owen (Label Manager), Sturart Knight (Label Manager) and Mark Knight. They aim to bring good quality house music to the music listening population and this forthcoming mix compilation does that job. Two CD's of quality house and progressive mixed no doubt magically by Gabriel and Dresden who I may add have been voted 'Best American DJ' at this years Winter Music Conference International Dance Music Awards (IDMA), that's a right mouthful to announce at the nominee podium.
The compilation is called Toolroom Nights and oretty much offers a mix of what you could expect from a night out seeing Gabriel and Dresden live. The tracks featured on the mix are rather tasty I have to say.
